Inside and around the house
Pest control that starts with an inspection
Ants, roaches, spiders, mice and more. One time, monthly or quarterly, planned around what the tech finds.
Chapter 01
Ants that outlast the first spray
Most pest calls in Henderson start small: ants along the kitchen counter, a spider in the garage corner, something scratching in the pantry. What you can see is only the part that wandered out. The colony, the nest or the gap in the foundation is somewhere else, and spraying the visible part leaves all of that alone.
That is how a problem comes back the week after. One customer wrote on Whitco's reviews page that Josh “stopped our ant problem after 2 other companies couldn't!” Another, on Google, wrote that he “has handled ants in my kitchen and they were gone in 2 days.” The visit that gets there starts with looking, not spraying.

An inspection, then a plan that has a reason behind each step
A Whitco tech inspects first and tells you what is actually there. Then comes the plan: what to treat now, what maintenance makes sense, and what you can change around the house to keep it from coming back. Treatment is targeted to the pest's habits, using barrier techniques, targeted baits and insect growth regulators, and Whitco says plainly that it chooses environmentally friendly methods that keep pesticide use down.
You choose how often. A one-time treatment fits a single problem, and monthly or quarterly plans fit a house that wants steady cover. Mice and rats get strategic baiting plus exclusion, which means sealing the entry points as well as baiting what is already inside. Silverfish get moisture control, because damp is what draws them: that part of the job is covered on the moisture control page. If the inspection turns up mud tubes at the foundation, the conversation shifts to termite control.
Every estimate is free and carries no obligation. The Henderson office, at 123 E Belle St, answers Monday to Friday, 8 to 5, at (252) 492-2818, and a live person picks up.
Chapter 03
What a quarterly customer actually sees
On a quarterly plan the tech calls ahead, and usually you don't need to be home.
A Google review from a customer of about 15 years describes the routine: Whitco makes the appointment and lets you know when they are coming, and you only need to be home if there is an interior problem. Josh “always sprays around the entire house and pool deck.” Dori Wilson, on Whitco's reviews page, writes “I've been using Whitco since 1997” and calls the quarterly service one they couldn't be more satisfied with. Christie Bryant's note covers the follow-up: “If you see anything a week after they sprayed, I called and they came back out.”
Carpet beetles are the kind of oddball that proves the point. When they invaded one family's living room, they called Whitco's Creedmoor office, and Kenny Harp was sent. The same reviewer calls him their regular representative: professional, responsive, and a great value for quarterly service. The Creedmoor line is (919) 528-3840 if that is closer to you than Henderson.

Your pest, and what Whitco does about it
- Ants, roaches, fleas, spiders, earwigs and crickets
- Targeted treatments, barrier techniques, insect growth regulators and targeted baits, picked for the pest's habits after the inspection.
- Mice and rats
- Strategic baiting and exclusion: the entry points get sealed, and what is left inside gets baited.
- Silverfish
- Moisture control, because silverfish follow the damp.
- Bed bugs
- Treatment plus follow-up measures, so a second look is part of the job.
- Carpenter bees and wasps
- On Whitco's list. Tell the office where you are seeing them when you call.
Termites are their own job, with their own yearly rhythm: termite control. Anything that needs the structure dried out, from silverfish damp to rotting wood, is moisture control.
